General dental treatment is include scaling, polishing, filling, and extraction of the teeth. Scaling is used to remove the hard plaque on your teeth, that cannot be removed by only brushing your teeth. Polishing is required after scaling to helps cleaning away stains from your teeth, which may have been caused for example by coffee or tea. Scaling and polishing will help you maintain your teeth and prevent gum disease. Gum disease can lead you to many effect, such as bad breath, bleeding gum, etc.

Endodontics
(nerve treatment)
Endodontics is a field of dentistry that deals with the tooth pulp and the tissues surrounding the root end of a tooth. The pulp (containing nerves and other soft tissues) can become diseased by deep decay or become injured when a tooth is knocked, chipped or fractured in an accident, and is often unable to repair itself. If it gets inflamed and/or infected, root canal treatment is required.The endodontic services we provide include: pulp capping, root canal treatment or retreatment, endodontic surgery, bleaching of discoloured non-vital teeth, treating of traumatic tooth injuries and diagnosing and treating dental pain.

The unit's therapeutic objectives are to control and eliminate disease, maintain health and restore form, function and aesthetics to supporting tissues around teeth or dental implants. Treatment modalities encompass surgical and non-surgical therapy.

Oral Surgery
Oral surgery is a field of dentistry that deals with the diagnosis and management of the diseases, injuries, and defects of the human mouth, jaw and associated facial structures. Our services include surgical procedures such as wisdom tooth surgeries, dental implants, sinus-lift procedure, bone grafting as well as adjunct surgery to orthodontics.The Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery provides a wide range of surgical services ranging from dentoalveolar surgery to orthognathic surgery and the management of jaw tumours. The Department also handles patients with salivary gland and mucosal diseases as well as patients with facial pain and temporo-mandibular joint problems.

Orthodontics (braces)
This is a field of dentistry that specializes in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of dento-facial irregularities. The practice of orthodontics requires professional skill in design, application and control of a host of corrective appliances (braces) to bring the teeth, lips and jaw into proper alignment and relationship. If your teeth are irregular, do not bite right and you feel conscious about it, an orthodontist can help. Such problems are called malocclusion. We also manage parafunctional anomalies, such as bruxism (grinding of teeth), temporo-mandibular joint disorder (pain and inflammation affecting the jaw joint and associated muscles), snoring and obstructive sleep apnea.Prosthodontics treatment involves the restoration of natural teeth or replacement of missing teeth with artificial substitutes.

Paedodontics
(children dentistry)
Paedodontics or paediatric dentistry refers to provision of oral healthcare service to children aged one to 17 years. Every child is prescribed a comprehensive oral health care programme catered to his or her own needs with the aim of helping the child to achieve optimal oral health. Provision of care includes both restorative and preventive components with emphasis on prevention and early interception of oral diseases.Our dental centres are equipped with children treatment rooms.

Dental Implant
Dental implants offer a permanent solution to missing teeth. A dental implant is a small titanium screw which is surgically placed into the lower or upper jaw bone. It replaces the root of the missing tooth and serves as an anchor for your new tooth or teeth. A strong bond is formed between the implants and the bone over several weeks or months. Replacement tooth or teeth, in the form of crown, bridge or denture, is then placed over the implant. Implant supported replacement teeth most closely resemble natural teeth in terms of look, feel and function such as speech and chewing.
